Get set to enjoy open-air cocktails in the city, with the launch of Sydney’s newest rooftop bar, Harper Rooftop Bar which swings open its doors on Thursday 2 November 2023.
Offering an urban oasis in the heart of the city, Harper Rooftop Bar will be the largest open air rooftop bar in the CBD thanks to its sky-high position on Level 7 of Kimpton Margot Sydney complete with rooftop pool, colourful pod seating, long dining tables and vibrant greenery.
Fusing contemporary beach club interiors and whimsical pastel hues, with a relaxed, laid-back vibe, Harper Rooftop Bar is the ultimate sanctuary for those wanting to escape the bustle of the city below.
The perfect spot for gathering with friends, renowned chef Luke Mangan has created a contemporary Mediterranean inspired menu featuring fresh, local ingredients that is designed for sharing.
“Finally the cat’s out of the bag – Harper Rooftop Bar opens in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to see Sydneysiders enjoying this amazing open-air rooftop bar with a rose in hand,” Luke said.
“We’ve created a delicious Mediterranean inspired menu full of small, share-style plates using fresh, local produce and plenty of amazing seafood – the perfect combo to celebrate the warm summer days,” he concluded.
Redefining the bar experience, the Harper drinks menu is a creatively curated collection of handcrafted sips that includes bespoke cocktails, summer-inspired slushies, freisling and award-winning wines. And once the sun sets, why not take advantage of the unique build-your-own-martini station?
“Harper Rooftop Bar is an immersive space that celebrates the finer things in life which is reflected in the F&B offering. The drinks menu has a fun, playful vibe with premium cocktails and delightful slushies complemented by an extensive range of wines available both by the glass and bottle,” said Jean-Baptiste Robert, Pro-invest Group’s Regional Director of Food & Beverage.
“It’s a destination in its own right and the place for people to gather with amazing food, laidback tunes and energetic vibes in the pulsing heart of the CBD.”
Buzzing with cool tunes and a contagious energy, Harper Rooftop Bar will be the meeting place this summer. Opening hours are Thursday 4pm – 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm – late and on Sundays from 12pm to 10pm.
To kick things off, Harper Rooftop Bar will be home to not-to-be-missed Melbourne Cup celebrations. Join in the fun on Tuesday 7 November from 12:30 – 3:30, when the Rooftop comes alive with races on the big screens, three hours of free-flowing beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, roaming gourmet canapes and live DJs spinning tracks. Price: $195 per person.
